LORD TOM is a new American musical inspired by Harriet Beecher Stowe's seminal novel, UNCLE TOM'S CABIN, indeed, the same novel that changed the course of American history!

In this 21st century offering, the protagonist, Tom, at once human and mythic, is portrayed heroically, viscerally as the novel's famous abolitionist author wrote him, much in the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Nelson Mandela, & Jackie Robinson! LORD TOM's credo is: the evolution of freedom, education of the oppressed and equal rights for all in a colorblind world.

It's themes are legion & legendary - the triumph of kindness over hatred, of joy over horror, of family over disengagement, of unity over division, and of freedom over bondage.
