PHILLIP BOYKIN 

Currently, starring on Broadway in the much celebrated revival of ON THE TOWN, Phillip is a 2012 Tony Award, Drama Desk Award and Outer Critics Circle Award Nominee for his work in PORGY AND BESS on Broadway, and the 2012 Winner of the Theatre World Award. Mr. Boykin portrayed the role of Big Hand in a new movie entitled, FREEDOM starring Cuba Gooding Jr., Sharon Leal and David Rasche. More recently, he starred with Chris Rock, in the Chris Rock film TOP FIVE. This summer, he reprised his role of Crown in London's Regents Park Open Air Theatre production of Porgy and Bess. Phillip has toured throughout Europe, Asia, Australia, Russia, Poland and North America. Performances include the roles of Joe in the National Tour SHOW BOAT, Ken in AIN’T MISBEHAVIN’, Crown/Jake in PORGY AND BESS, Tarquinius in THE RAPE OF LUCRETIA, Caiaphas in JCS, and JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR GOSPEL, the HARLEM GOSPEL SINGERS, Fred in SMOKEY JOE’S CAFÉ, and Don Alfonso in COSI FAN TUTTI to name a few. Phillip performed in the Anniversary Concert of RAGTIME at Lincoln Center. Mr. Boykin served as Director and Manager of the NY HARLEM SINGERS. He’s a graduate of the University of Hartford’s Hartt School of Music in CT. CARRIE  COMPERE

Carrie is so excited and proud to be a part of the wonderful “Lord Tom” cast.   Carrie made her Broadway Debut this summer at The Palace Theatre in "HOLLER IF YA HEAR ME". And upcoming, you can see her in the production of SHOWBOAT at Avery Fisher Hall with the NY Philharmonic and televised live on PBS in November.  She toured with the 1st National Tour of Broadway’s Shrek the Musical.  She can also be seen in commercials and TV productions in  episodes of the CBS series “NYC 22” and the pilot episode for Showtime’s “Gurland on Gurland”.  Carrie wishes to send love and thanks to God, to her husband and two children and manager, CBU Management, Inc.

ALAN  H.  GREEN

Alan has been on Broadway in Play On and Sister Act. Other New York credits include Happiness at the Lincoln Center and The Radio City Christmas Spectacular as well as many workshops and readings of new shows. He has traveled the country in the 1st National Tours of The 25th Annual...Spelling Bee, Swing and Smokey Joes Cafe.  He also did a production of Miss Saigon in Germany (sung in German). Some of his regional theater highlights include First You Dream at the Kennedy Center, Johnny Baseball at A.R.T. and The Visit at The Signature. He has been seen on television in Peter Pan Live! As a guest star on NBC: Unforgettable, 30 Rock, Law and Order SVU, The Guiding Light and several national commercials including Chase, Time Warner Cable, Red Lobster, Trop50 and Wendys. Elizabeth was most recently seen on Broadway as the last “Jane Banks” in the closing company of Mary Poppins. Favorite regional roles include “Flounder” in The Little Mermaid (The Muny), “Tootie” in Meet Me In St. Louis (The Muny), “Marta VonTrapp” in The Sound of Music (The Muny), “Young Cosette” in Les Miserables (The Heagney Theatre), and “The Girl” in New Jewish Theatre’s powerful production of Way To Heaven. Favorite workshops include playing “Young Marguerite“ in the new musical Ever After directed and choreographed by Kathleen Marshall and, of course, the part of "Eva" in Lord Tom in which her personal love of historical fiction comes to life.

Jim was seen on Broadway: Rent, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.  National Tours: Little Shop of Horrors, The Graduate, South Pacific.  Regional:  Repertory Theatre of St. Louis: Amadeus, The Comedy of Errors.  Geva Theatre Center: Amadeus, Bobby in Company. Jim will play Lt. Frank Cioffi in Curtains at Arvada Center this summer.

CAITLYN  ROSE  MCLAUGHLIN

Caitlyn Rose McLaughlin is an inquisitive, intelligent young rising star.  Caitlyn began her journey in Community Theater at the age of 4. She went on to become one of the youngest performers at the Glimmerglass Opera House, performing in Lost in the Stars. Caitlyn has performed with Broadway Cares, Mr. Aubrey’s Show Kids and the Wynton Marsalis band. Television shows: Unforgettable, Louie and Friends of the People.  She can also be heard as the voice of Uniqua (Backyardigans).  Catilyn is grateful to be part of the Lord Tom cast. Thank you God and all those who support me.

KEVIN   R.  LEAK  JR.

 S H A K E E L 

Kevin Leak Jr. is proud to join the cast playing the role of Shakeel in the Lab of Lord Tom.  This is a huge step for him and he is truly excited. Kevin hales from Greenburgh, NY. He is in the 6th grade at RJ Bailey Elementary School in White Plains where he has performed in many concerts/fashion shows and plays. A trained R&B and Gospel singer, he has performed at many open mic venues throughout Westchester and NYC as well as at the Apollo Theatre, The Village Underground, Madison Square Garden and BB Kings. He has also appeared in an independent film playing the role of Little Darryl in Red White and Detroit, directed by Cedric Hill.Kevin would like to thank his parents and friends for their support as well as the casting director of Lord Tom.  Kevin is looking forward to more theatre roles.  As he puts it next stop Broadway.

ISAIAH  REGISTER

Isaiah Register is a 6th grade student and has dreamed of being an actor since he was three years old. He has been featured in several commercials and appeared in Julie Taymor's play, Midsummer Night's Dream in 2014. Isaiah was also featured singing as part of Bruno Mars Superbowl 2014 opening halftime show. Isaiah dreams of attending Yale School of Drama one day.
